Tip of the day - for travelers in Asia

I know that many people are (or have been) struggling with the too spicy food, while traveling in India and/or in Nepal. Even if you tell at the restaurant, that "Please, no spicy" - and the waiter seems to understand and nods - then the food you get is usually still not eatable, because of too much chilly or coriander or some other spice. Nothing seems to help, when trying to explain, what kind of result you want. Probably "not spicy" can just be interpreted in so many different ways, and what is "no spicy" for some people, is "too hot" for others. Plus, there are some spices, what you just don't like (for example coriander).
But now - finally (after many meals without eatable food) - I have figured out the expression, that can not be interpreted in many ways and which gives the same expected result always. And it really works! The two magic words are - "ONLY SALT"!! :))
(Cheers! ;)
