Hiking from Besishahar (820m) to Bahundanda (1270m). Starting at 7:00 and finishing at 14:00. The trail was really pleasant - going slightly up and down, nice sunshine and amazing views. I even got to see the 8000m peaks already - grandiose! 4000m mountains are called baby-mountains here!
Today I met only 4 tourists (other trekkers) - so it is really off-season currently - which is obviously rather pleasant. In the afternoon, one Nepal guy from Bahundanda joined my company and so - we were walking and chatting and having lunch in between and I learned some useful Nepal words. We were also discussing my trek, but unfortunately I still haven't figured out, how I'm gonna make it. As there is this one peak 5400m for crossing and it is not recommended to go there alone - I think I have to take a guide from Manang. But the Nepal guy told, that it's extremely expensive - so I'm still thinking.. Maybe it's possible to fly over this peak, but this option is not 100% sure and it will be probably even more expensive! ;) But less effort - of course.. So - I'm leaving my options opened for the moment, as I'm not sure, that I want to climb this 5000m peak. Getting old and lazy.. ;)
